We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. I like the result if thats how it was achieved - creates an interesting texture and another layer within the image.
As a minor reservation, I'm unsure about the cropping used here; whilst the side-heavy composition exaggerates the sense that the model is concerned with other things but the camera, the relatively drab left side has little to keep the viewer's attention. This may be your intention, however.
